RSIS and Raytheon Company were national recipients of the 2000 Department of Defense Nunn-Perry Award. The highly coveted Nunn-Perry is given to the most successful Mentor-Protégé teams with government contracting. DoD's Mentor-Protégé is designed to facilitate partnerships between large federal government contractors and small businesses, with a focus on technology transfer from the mentor to the protégé.
