The RSIS Quality Council's continued dedication to our Corporate Quality Initiative was further evidenced in its winning of the 2004's American Business Award for Best Support Team. The American Business Awards are governed by a board of distinguished judges and advisors made up of leading figures in American business. They include Rich Karlgaard, publisher of Forbes, and best-selling authors and business gurus Tom Peters, Tony Robbins and Donald Trump.
Described as a "creative, energetic and diverse team" the Quality Council spearheaded a successful effort to earn ISO 9001:2000 certification at five RSIS sites. "Quality Council members facilitated process improvement not just within their own departments but throughout the company," RSIS Chief Operating Officer Scott Amey, himself a finalist in a Best Executive category, said, "They helped standardize and improve the way we work."
