RSIS Chairman and CEO Rodney P. Hunt was named Black Engineer of the Year, 2002, in the Entrepreneur Category. Hunt was selected for his "leadership and management skills, contributions to the growth of engineering technology" and his company's "impact on the community, demonstrated by increased employment, job training, and minority opportunity." The award is sponsored by the Council of Engineering Deans of the Historically Black Colleges and Universities, Lockheed Martin Corp., and USBE & Information Technology.
