For the eighth consecutive year - a record - RSIS has made the list of the fastest-growing federal contractors in the DC metropolitan area.  Washington Technology,the magazine that ranks the Fast 50, recorded RSIS as the 38^th fastest growing contractor.

"It's an extraordinary achievement when you consider that it's the small companies that normally experience the high percentage growth year to year," said Rodney P. Hunt, President and CEO. "When you reach the size of RSIS - with nearly $260 million revenues in 2003 - you don't expect to match $10 million and $20 million companies in revenue growth rate."

The Fast 50 companies were ranked on how fast their government revenue grew from 1998 to 2003. Companies were required to have a minimum of $100,000 in government revenue in 1998 and had to meet the federal government criteria for small business or be a member of the 8(a) program. As a company that graduated from 8(a) and moved out of the small business category in 2003, RSIS no longer will qualify for the Fast 50.

"It's on to bigger things," said Hunt. "But it'll be a long while before anyone beats our record of eight straight years on the list."

RSIS was ranked #15 in 2003; #25 in 2002; #34 in 2001; #9 in 2000; #15 in 1999; #18 in 1998; and #3 in 1997.
