RSIS CEO and President Rodney P. Hunt was honored this month by the Northern Virginia Urban League at its annual awards dinner for his “extraordinary leadership and commitment to corporate diversity.”

"We're delighted to be recognized by the Urban League for our ongoing commitment to diversity among our nearly 2,000 staff professionals, the vendors we buy from, and the many small, disadvantaged businesses we mentor and employ as subcontractors,” Hunt said.

Women and minorities make up nearly 60 percent of the RSIS workforce, and the company has a multi-level program to help small businesses crack the highly competitive market for federal contracting.

The Northern Virginia Urban League provides program services to African-Americans, Latinos and other minorities and has reached thousands of individuals and families with training and employment assistance, mentoring initiatives, and other services.
