TEAM RSIS: Partners in Success

Successful partnerships are built upon mutual trust. RSIS’ leadership has long recognized the value of trust in all of its business relationships, including teaming partnerships, business alliances, and vendor agreements. RSIS has earned a national reputation as an excellent business partner dedicated to teaming with large and small companies to win work and provide vital and unsurpassed technology services to our Federal Government customers. As TEAM RSIS, we have made an impact both in the industry and with our clients, proving that we have the professional skills, expertise and ethics to bring a new level of leadership and partnership to the challenges we face together. Whether working side-by-side with an industry giant or helping an up-and-coming company find success, RSIS is ready and able to build strong, new relationships.

We have an established record of maintaining enduring teaming relationships with major corporations—such as SAIC and Northrop Grumman—and small businesses—such as 1 Source Consulting and ThinkTank—through which mutual goals are accomplished and superior-quality services provided. The results of our stalwart commitment to long-term partnerships can be measured by our exemplary customer award fees, successful performance in accordance with performance metrics and service level agreements (SLAs), cost and time savings for our customers, and the satisfaction of giving back to America’s small business community—the same community in which RSIS grew with the support of our mentor, Raytheon Systems Company. Our business relationships have resulted in meeting or exceeding customer satisfaction thresholds.

Partnerships with Hardware Manufacturers/Vendors

Our partnerships with hardware manufacturers allow us to acquire equipment at competitive prices for our customers as well as for our company. The most notable is our relationship with Dell, with whom we have agreements that allow us to offer customers pricing at or below GSA schedule rates. Other reseller agreements include Cisco, HP/Compaq, 3Com, Nortel, Micron, and SIGMET. We also have relationships with the top distributors in the industry, including Ingram Micro, Tech Data, CDW-G, and GTSI. Our business relationships with CDW-G and GTSI include access to their GSA schedules, depending upon the opportunity.

RSIS established a partnership with Dell computers as the sole provider of WINTEL hardware for our $65 million Next Generation Managed Seats and Services contract with DARPA. Dell provides PC workstations and server systems.

Partnerships with Software Vendors

First and foremost, RSIS’ established business partnerships with Microsoft, Oracle, and Lotus (IBM) allow us to anticipate and manage change. These relationships also enable us to share with customers the latest news on technology issues in the industry, problem resolutions and lessons learned, and best practices. Hands-on use of beta-version software applications has contributed to significant cost and time savings for RSIS’ customers. For example, Office of Naval Research (ONR) and the Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) benefited from advanced knowledge of new application features by being able to include those in their evaluation of solution alternatives. This led to the identification of less costly, more easily maintained system enhancements.
